The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) are relatively few in number but have had a much greater impact in the world than those numbers might suggest thanks to their witness to peace and social reform. This very short volume describes a personal view of Quakerism in seven simple steps, with some of the essentials of this radical and contemporary approach to spiritual practice and how it translates into action in a troubled world. It is not intended to be an exhaustive description of Quakerism, much better books already exist for that, but a simple and accessible overview of what some Quakers believe and how that relates to their mostly silent meetings and leads to their care for the world.
