According to successive Traditions and agreement of all classes of people, The Prophet (s.a.w) introduced twelve persons as his caliph and successors and it is clear that they were honoured also with the gift of pureness, which is necessity of a leader designated by god. They can be no other than the twelve Imams of the Prophets household (p.b.u.t) and the possibility of others pureness is surely and completely inexistent. In the superior attributes of purity, Fatemah Zahra (p.b.u.h) the mother of all Imams also has a part and the holy verse on pureness (Allah only desires to keep away the unclearness from you, O people of the House! And to purify you a thorough purifying) without any doubt also consisted of Fatemeh.
In this manner, to the last of these persons, and also taking into account the grand status of the holy Prophet (s.a.w) fourteen persons were adorned with the beauty of pureness, and this book explains briefly and in a summary the life's history of every one of these Fourteen infallibles.
On the subject of the first infallible or the holy Prophet (s.a.w) it is only natural that a summary of the beginning of Islam's great events and the Prophets (s.a.w) wars be mentioned.
The Author, according to the preface of the back feels that Islam has no water or earth boundaries and everywhere in this world we witness uncountable followers of Islam in the west or east who comprehend words other than the words of central Islam and because of this they cannot find original Islamic sources. For this reason sometimes unfortunately their youngsters do not profit from the least necessary Islamic information.
To remedy this defect they have made ready and compiled this book. In the meantime, this book also contains thoughts and short speeches from every one of these infallibles, peace be upon them, which raises the reader to a superior spiritual stage.
The author compiled this book from several sources and one of them is the book Shiite in Islam from the great intellect and exegete of our time, the late Muhammad Tabatabaii.
