How far out of your comfort zone would you be willing to explore just to find your purpose in life? Dr. Leba Brader is a well-liked and highly skilled trauma surgeon who longs for adventure outside the safety of the base hospital. When she embarks on a quest to join an expeditionary scientific mission on a remote ice moon in order to realize her full potential and make a difference, she gets more than she expected. DeShay Tiner is a grizzled war veteran severely injured during the last conflict. He is relegated to teaching immature recruits the way of the space warrior. Struggling to regain his former active-duty status, he too opts for the frigid wasteland. Seeing Leba’s potential, Tiner becomes not only her mentor but also her close confidant and supporter. He shows her how to thrive in her new environment by changing tactics and breaking rules.

After her shuttle crashes during a training exercise, Leba finds herself in the middle of a hostile environment with few resources and incooperative teammates. In order to survive, she must step up and adapt, utilizing all her skills to keep herself and the others alive.
