After enduring the heat so atrocious and dry, I went into a cafe in a small village near the sea in the beautiful Sicily to get something fresh to drink, a man of about 50 years saw me enter and with eyes like a researcher fixed me to intrigue, I could not look at it, I avoided any visual contact, opening my notebook where I was writing to my next book and trying to concentrate but was not possible, with those eyes of that man focused on me all the time, I stud up and moved to another table a little bit further to have a bit of tranquility, but it was impossible the man eyes captured me everywhere I was, I knew that I should be careful in Sicily when somebody is looking into your eyes, I try to avoid so far I could to anticipate any problem. After 10 minutes that man studs up and approached my table without asking me a question sits to the chair next to me, he looks straight into my eye

and with a very firm voice without any accent asked me, sir, may I ask you a question? I looked at him and breathlessly but very attentive to any next movement I replied, yes, of course, the man waiting for my answer as a guard dog, he asked me, are you a journalist? no I'm not a journalist, the man replied, because I see you writing like a journalist, I smiled and said, no I'm busy writing my next book, at that moment that man took a deep breath and with a straight look into my eyes say, sir, I love to tell you my story if you have only 10 minutes, I'm sure you'd like,,,,
