A different kind of dead

The American South-West is one big lonely expanse, having been picked clean by the zombie hordes. Now the undead are in decline, and the army is moving in to re-establish control. But before the law overtakes him, Kobe Williamson wants to hunt down the remaining zombies. Not for sport, not for revenge, but for what’s in their pockets: Cash.

But then Kobe encounters something he didn’t expect: A thing that feasts on men’s insides, yet shoots and thinks like a human. With nothing but his beat-up El Camino, his guns and his wilting cowboy hat, Kobe follows the crimson path this thing has left by the road.

Until he comes to the end of all roads, where he will be forced to confront this rogue element… to uncover its true nature- be it man, or zombie, or something of a different kind.
