A Helping Hand

There is a deep wilderness in the northwest corner of Montana. Hundreds of square miles of nothing but forest and mountains and rivers. The Lands End Expeditions outfit was there to serve any clients who wanted a real outdoor experience. The owner, Red Dunn, had inherited the company from his father and built it from a shoestring operation into a respected adventure firm. He had a loyal and long-term crew of four helping him. He was drifting along, content. But a trip to an outdoors convention across country and a chance encounter with a young lady was soon to change that.

She was fleeing from a dangerous and angry man and Red was too much of a gentleman to not give her a hand. The end game required him to use some skills he had not employed since Nam.
