Alex White enjoyed his life and his position. He had been promoted at work and had his own office. This day he had advertised for a receptionist and secretary. A young woman that introduced herself as Sandra Welsh applied for, and got the job. The first day work out well, and when Alex came home to his family, he at the dinner table told his wife that he now had his own secretary. "Does that mean I got myself some competition?" What's she doing here with this White?" When the cleaning woman came home, she phoned up her son, John Colt, and told him that she had sen his girlfriend coming out from one of the offices. "What are you going to do about it?" When Sandra came home, John in a pleasant voice asked if she would like to follow him down towards the wharf, he had his gun, knife, and hatchet packed in a backpack.
