The landscape is dimly lit by a full, blood red moon hanging low on the horizon. Its light making the trees and plants look afire. A group of humanoids gather around several small fires. All the beings seen have the appearance of undernourishment. From what little is being cooked it's very easy to understand why. Most are watching various… things cooking over the low fires; there are two scrawny rabbits, a large buzzard, two very large horned toads, and several snakes. A small skinny Javelina hangs over the largest fire and is turned occasionally by a young female. Four smaller children play tag as two distant eyes reflect the firelight. A Jaguar patiently watches in evident hope of a child straying… just a bit too far. Numerous howls are heard echoing from out of the dark; some sound as if they're getting louder, closer.
