A New Beginning

In this science fiction thriller, man’s arrogance is exposed and his sense of self-preservation is put to the test. After years of ignoring scientists’ warnings on global warming, the politicos engage in an effort to find a new planet to replace the toxic and resource depleted Earth. Thus the mighty ship called Luminary is built and heads for a distant galaxy where astronomers and scientists believe they’ve located a habitable planet. Unknowingly, the ship attracts the attention of marauding aliens called Imbibians that invade Earth and effectively neutralize our militaries by mastering control over and turning off our electricity. Consequently, every sort of industry and means of transportation comes to an immediate halt, and the Imbibians do what we were incapable of doing ourselves…ending the pollution that is choking our planet. Slowly the environment starts to improve; however, humans find themselves in a new struggle for survival that culminates in a new reality and a new beginning.
