Alex Dando is now a very wealthy man who has one aim and that is to kill off Daniel Walker’s ghost. With his boss Freddie Frost now laid to rest in a Long Island, New York, and his wife of four days Christine Deville also laid to rest in the village cemetery in Devon he sets sail to Brittany to kidnap Daniel Walker’s partner and hand him over to the Americans to stand trial for treason.

He discovers that his boat is more than just one for leisure, it is more of a power boat, as its bow and keel were designed to minimize bow pressure and drag. The two V12 engines had been super charged and could realize 35 knots, together with navigation instruments, radar, depth gauges auto cruise and many other extras.

His crew was all women, with a female engineer, two executive chefs, two agile lady bouncers who were daughters of bitches and martial art black belt holders trained in Aikido, and his PA Hardy was a formidable business woman.

He trains to become a Helicopter pilot, and now has a new executive Jet which he uses to fly between his home in Italy to his place of work in Manchester. He remodels Fresh Fields to Freddie’s template and adds a Helicopter pad and garage, and he reluctantly receives a Roll Royce, but much prefers his Humber.

His Midas touch rolls on, however it has a death knell for any of his lovers who get too close.
