When Hilary discovers that one of her novels has been plagiarized online, she decides there isn't a moment to waste tracking down the shadowy Picknmix, who wants to profit from her hard work. Not that she doesn't have enough to do already in her day job, with the Minister wanting to organize a cat cull. Then his new adviser, Phillip Roberts, shows a decidedly unprofessional interest in Hilary, who can't help but feel attracted to the darkness she senses within him.
