Adventures in Putnam County

In rural Missouri, 1915, three friends rescue each other from social stigma and from nature's wrath on their way to saving their families from villainous bank robbers. A girl who's lost her mother to illness; a boy whose disability means he walks with crutches; and a boy of the same age who's a newcomer to the community use their unique and surprising talents in their daring adventures.
