Sassy and saucy Cassie Renee Parker is a twenty-five year old who uses her limited experience and wild imagination to author Alphabet Lovin’, an updated and impishly, candid column in her Grammy’s outdated magazine which she inherits. But, unless she updates the old periodical and give it some spark, there won’t be anything left to inherit. She is doing just fine until the rigid ‘holier–than-thou’ Dr. Ethan Bradford III barges into her life and into her heart.
Dr. Ethan Bradford III, divorced and raising his teen daughter leaves Boston to create a better life for them in Arkansas. He is determined his daughter will never turn out like her bed-hopping mother. When he catches his daughter reading the ‘unsavory’ Alphabet Lovin’, he tries to have the column pulled from the magazine. Unsuccessful, he fights back with his Good for the Heart radio segments taking each of Cassie’s ‘offensive’ topics and transforms them into a motivating series about meaningful relationships. He soon realizes that when he messes with Cassie, the popular hometown girl and her inheritance, he messes with the entire population of Mount Devine, Arkansas.
Cassie understands every teenage girl needs a responsible mother in her life and every man deserves a good woman. But, these two will have to settle for her. She’s not giving them up without a fight even if she has to hogtie Ethan to her bed with her Victoria Secrets panties. And, after the experience Cassie gains later from Ethan’s ‘hands on’ training, who knows what she might write about next. Lovin’ by Numbers, maybe?
