One Christmas, Eve Amy’s Uncle Lawless takes her high into the woods of Cogan. He takes her to a place that some people know as One Tree Wood. It is called such because it is a natural clearing where one solitary tree grows. Amy is bewildered as to why he has brought her there, it is snowing and she is freezing cold. He tells her that she must never tell anyone about the place or what she is about to witness. Suddenly all the creatures of the forest gather in the clearing and begin to chant in their respective tongues and upon the Stroke of midnight the tree begins to glow. The chanting from the creatures gets louder and Amy thinks that the sound they make is:
“Winter man come, Winter man come.”
Seconds later an Icy figure appears from out of the ground. He is the Winter man. He has powers beyond belief. But can Amy keep this secret?
