The twelfth story involving DCI Victor Moyes and DS Victoria Morgan set in the nineteen sixties sees them trying to apprehend a vicious pair of criminals who have carried out a number of robberies. With the arrival of a newly promoted Detective Constable, we also follow Victoria as she breaks the rules and succumbs to his charms and this story concentrates as much on her personal life as it does on the case they are trying to solve.
