On August 22nd, a Melbourne of moving graffiti art, ghost infested market places and consistently stable weather is going through quite a lot.

Violet Binet is a street assassin and former Catwalker who's fed up with the buzzing Bee Seekers, the cult-like Hydrophobes who occasionally help out and everything else her modern Melbourne can throw at her - it can get daunting... sometimes.

She's desperate, very desperate, and in need of what she can't afford thanks to some pretentious medical practitioners, so she decides to makes things easier by stealing from the wrong man, her former mentor Uncle Jack, who can be more than understanding.

Fortunately for her, Uncle Jack is very understanding... even if she did steal his prized football from under his security griffin and sphinx, and agrees to help. All she has to do is kill the Painter, whatever the hell that is.
