A Novel From the Future

This is a speculative novel that takes place in the late 24th century in a post-apocalyptic world. New tensions arise as countries again compete for dominance after centuries of relative peace since the 'Horror' - the generations following the impact of an asteroid in the early 22nd century. Our central character has possession of a 'synaptic memory chip' whose key once deciphered can summon minds from the past, in order to save the world from dominantion from a new racist regime. The world as we know it is completely different. The discovery of alien intervention in our past predominates the future, and perhaps is the pathway to a better world, ultimately with integration into the galactic community.
