"To understand Overland Park writer Rolland Love, think Mark Twain." Nick Kowalczyk, The Kansas City Star.

“Rolland, Mark Twain would have loved your excellent Ozark Mountains adventures. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of the masterfully constructed stories.” Jonathan David Masters, Reviewer

"Rolland Love’s novels and short stories reminded me of reading the Hardy Boy adventures and Mark Twain when I was younger. Glad to hear you wrote the novel River's Edge a sequel to Blue Hole, I look forward to reading all of your stories." Larry Bodinson, Private Investigator.

“Rolland Love’s writing transfigures his Ozark Mountains stories into a series of fantastic tales Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer could have only dreamed of and his style is compared to Mark Twain.” AMAZON Kindle —Featured Author Review —

Review by Tom Gilbert, History Teacher, Life Story Expert.
"Rolland Love is an excellent storyteller. He writes about his real life experiences growing up in the Ozark Mountains and he writes from the heart. Funny, too, like Mark Twain. This is not just my personal opinion. I have 4 years of 5th grade students who agree from reading Rolland's fine work that he's one of the best. Some of his stories like Blue Hole, sequel River's Edge and Ozark Dark Side Stories are scary but every thing Love writes ends well. All ages especially YA’s love his tales. My students especially enjoyed your coming of age memoir, 'Born Dead on a Winter's Night, saved by snow.
