My body warmed under his gaze. This guy was too good to be true. Or possibly he needed glasses. "Well, if you don't care, I don't care."
"Good." He slid a hand under my elbow and pulled me to my feet as he stood. For a moment we were inches away from each other, and I could feel the warmth of his body on my skin. My lips parted and my head spun. He pressed a finger gently beside my mouth, bringing a smile, and then stepped back. "I will see you in a few minutes."
