At the beginning of his engineering education, Rishi is faced with a difficult choice. Should he opt for the stream that he is passionate about? Or, should he do the supposedly sensible thing and choose the branch that has the most job opportunities? And, he was not alone in this dilemma. In college, he finds out that hundreds of students have given up their dreams and aspirations in favor of a six digit salary.

He teams up with his friends Prateek, Yash and Sid to figure out a different way of learning that would help students like him pursue their passion. A noble endeavor but with a heavy price to pay. A simple desire to help others like him brings him close to a breakdown.

In the midst of all this turmoil, he manages to fall utterly and madly in love as well. But things take a turn for the worse. Will he manage to recover and resurrect his life?

Welcome to the world of Rishi, the life of every student - ‘Being Stupid’.
