HAVE YOU EVER MET YOUR SOULMATE?
LOVE… THE NEXT LIFE AROUND

Alana is about to get married to her fiancé, James, but for the first time she meets his close friend who’s going to be his Best Man in the wedding. His name is Alec, and from the moment their eyes fell on each other, something really strange begins to happen.

Alana believes she is experiencing love at first sight and Alec seems to be showing the same symptoms. However hard they try, a powerful attraction draws them to each other. The situation is impossible. It shouldn't be happening, not when the wedding is about to take place in days!

They didn’t know what to do. Alana uses James to fight it. Alec goes to a friend (with benefits) to lose himself for a while. But Cindy, a practicing witch, tells him about the myth of the “Heart’s Soul Mate”. She says it is almost unheard of but maybe, just maybe, an attraction so powerful and inexplicable can only be explained by a supernatural reason.

Unfortunately, Cindy also has a warning – “Mark my words. Trouble is there when soul mates don’t get to fulfill their destiny to be together.”

Doomed if he doesn't and doomed if he does. What is Alec to do?

“Alana?”
She was startled and she whirled with a plate full of suds on her hands. The suds flew into Alec’s clean shirt, on his neck and chin.
“Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry!”
“It’s okay,” he said as he laughed. “It’s my fault. I startled you though I did not mean to. I’m the one who should be sorry.”
She tried to turn back to the sink to wash her hands, but instead, she stood there, mesmerized by his voice, by his eyes, by his powerful presence.
“It’s happening again, isn't it?” he asked in a low, hoarse voice.
She closed her eyes. “Alec, I—“
“It’s not entirely your fault. I feel it, too, the moment I met you. I’m sorry, I can’t help it. This is the very first time something like this has ever happened to me.”
“Me, too,” she whispered.
“I went down to find you and apologize. But I think it’s happening again. I want to kiss you so bad its painful. I have to go... get out of here for a while.”
She looked up at him. She knew that her eyes were full of panic. “Yes. Yes, please go.”
He nodded. Then he shook his head. And then he crushed her to him and he was kissing her so forcefully, so emotionally. And what’s worse, she was kissing him back the same way!
A noise from somewhere up the stairs had them apart as if a giant spring had suddenly appeared between them.
He said urgently. “I’m sorry,” he pleaded even as his eyes still yearned for her lips.
And then he turned and he was gone. She heard him go outside the front door, and then the noise of his car leaving the same time that she heard James going down the stairs...
