She is also a mother and a retired nurse. She received her registered nurse certificate from Malcolm X College and her nurse practitioner certificate from Purdue University. When her spiritual father died, she heard the Lord speak to her letting her know it was time to become an author. Her first manuscript is called, Memories, a Tribute to Dad. She has written other manuscripts, all remain to be published. She has always believed in helping others. She worked at Cook County Hospital for 31 years. Sometimes at work, she wrote procedure policies for the hospital and handbook instructions for patients. Other times, she wrote about real life experiences and filed everything.
