Seminar paper from the year 2006 in the subject American Studies - Literature, grade: 2,0, University of Potsdam (Institut für Anglistik / Amerikanistik), course: Seminar 'Strange Fruits', 15 entries in the bibliography, language: English, abstract: Soon after its publication on March 1st 1940 it seemed to be clear that 'Native Son' was the great breakthrough in the career of the young black author Richard Wright.
