Bird of Passage

Sharks, sex, and science; Bird of Passage is based on the authors first expedition into the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean to track sharks. Calvin Landry, a local artist, signs on as the ships mechanic and becomes deathly seasick before the boat leaves sight of land, however he soon finds a new enchanting world awaits him. The story intertwines high seas adventure, self discovery, romance and his life with the colorful characters of Woods Hole. A heart felt tale of the men and women of science who love and work the sea.
