Chicago's fabled underworld is famous for its high-profile gangsters such as Al Capone. Not as publicly known, but perhaps even more notorious, are the names of "Mushmouth" Johnson, Jeff Fort and Larry Hanover. These African-American gangsters were every bit as powerful, intriguing and colorful as the Windy City's more famous white gangsters.
