Three years ago, a crack team of corporate knee-breakers walked into a New York curio shop to retrieve an arcane weapon and promptly killed each other. Three weeks ago, the five ex-members of the Gatecrashers came back to life and broke out of the Company morgue.
Ex-marine and augmented soldier, John Savage aka The Sentinel, was one of them. Pursued by the Company who created him for the damning information he carries inside his symbiotic computer, he tries to piece his life back together again. If he can avoid the body-hopping Djinn, Mister Punch, and the mystery-man the Company hires to bring him back to the fold, that is.
Enter Anthony Leibowitz, the self-styled curator of the strange. He likes Chinese food, old films, and drinks tea – lots of tea. Employed by the Company to track down all five of the missing heroes, he assembles a crack team of slightly unhinged associates to help him. Top of the list is his best friend, professional Yorkshireman and gun-for-hire, Yory Keighley.
