Blame It On The Camels:

Who would open a Hi-Fi shop in a desert?

Sandy did and with a modicum of success… until Mirrimax Industries got their beady eye on the stock and persuaded camel-riding thieves to do their dirty work.

What do you do when you know a simple ‘please can I have my ball back’ is only going to give the bigwigs a thirty second snigger?

Meet Sandy, owner of ‘Sandy’s Play-It-Loud Hi-Fi Emporium’ and his chronically drunk, life-long friend, Fagan, as they are forced to engage in the carnage caused by The Great Drought of 07 and journey to the neon-clad metropolis that is Lowestoft – rumour has it the UK’s original first capital – in an attempt to re-claim their property and if possible rid the country of its most vile and odorous mode of transport, the camel.

Blame it on the Camels is a playful, comedy journey set in a rumoured future UK about two lackadaisical outcasts who were happy ‘just being’ until righteous indignation got the better of them. Blame it on the Camels is also the story of the people, mutants and half-breeds they meet on the way: Wren, 15-stone bruiser of a barkeep with a heart of gold (once it’s been thawed a year or so of ice), Beeti, the true reason for all volcanic eruptions worldwide, or Mandarin the belligerent and disgraced ex-government office clerk Mankey.

Blame it on the Camels is narrated by an unnamed Human Safari tour guide who has all the historical facts… or so he says anyway.
