His eye had been on the sparrow, as Alice Ashcraft was taken to a Pentecostal Church by neighbors at age five and anointed with oil by the pastor, and at age nine, her new neighbors took her to a Baptist Church, where she was baptized in water. She had no other religious training until, as an adult, she was sick and asked God a question, and he answered in a life-changing way. She received a magazine and went to the address on the cover. She was prayed for and received the Holy Spirit, and on that night, she was taken up to a heavenly place to gaze upon the world with Jesus.

He showed her the earth from his viewpoint and imparted his love for the world to her and sent her back to the garden where she had been praying. The next day, God called her into the ministry to open a Christian school, with the model of ORU educating the whole man mind, body, and spirit. He simply said to her, “Go and build one.”

This story is about obedience, blessings, and favor from God that lasted a lifetime.
