Abelardo is a young and sad man who lost the woman he loves and, although it has been a year since she died, he insists on sinking into his melancholy, his memories, her personal possessions and pretending that she still talk to him. But then, on a cold October night, Abelardo receives the unexpected visit of a beautiful woman who claims to be Death, and who wakes him at midnight only to inform him that he has died, that time has stopped and that it will advance only when he has resigned himself to die. Now Abelardo must confront the news of his own death at the same time he re-discovers what his life was, the things that are still his and what really happened to the woman he loved, realizing his own destiny.

A romantic and surreal story with touches of poetry, where we are invited to reflect not only on what is life and death, but what it means to love and possess things, in the composition of the soul, as well as what is inevitable and what is not.
