Blue Murder

Would someone really commit murder over a rare daylily? Unfortunately, they would. But Midstate University’s Dr. Christmas Eve Connery, FBI Special Agent Dan Blackwell, Detective Hjelmer Ryquist and others work the mystery through to its conclusion. Dr. Connery’s octogenarian neighbor is killed when he interrupts someone stealing an unusual plant from his extensive garden. Though not a gardener, Chris finds herself embroiled in the sometimes obsessive world of the daylily fancier. Add a super-realist painter who always includes one mistake in his otherwise perfect renditions and surprises begin to pile up with potentially lethal results.
