Christians are not aware that they are great consumers of material goods due to the evil influence of Satan. They are very competitive, require status symbols, and are influenced by the media also. They are not aware of their behavior because the evil influence seeks to keep them blind to spiritual things, keeping one foot in the world and one in the church.

The book is prophetic in nature. America is headed for another calamity if the people of God dont turn from their wicked ways, repent, turn back to God, and pray. Acknowledge truth as such, and abandon that which is false.
