Bayor the Torch Bearer

He had been reborn as a valiant warrior, the finest of all the huntsmen whoever walked the land of Zadawa. He finally had all the success and glory he ever wanted, and in good measure.

But like a wild animal knowing the taste of blood for the very first time, he simply wanted more. With every new feat he achieved, he felt drawn to further adventure. So he kept hunting and slaying dastardly creatures, winning trophies after trophies until he had hunted and conquered the seven forests throughout the land.

Perhaps his heart had been seduced by a force beyond him, luring him out to the forest that he might be ensnared to his own destruction.

-----------------------------------------------------

Born in a land of great warriors and devious beasts, Bayor, a young huntsman strives for years to come into his own. He must prove himself worthy to uphold the honor of his grandfathers and redeem his family's name, for they were all famous hunters. But his life seems complicated, especially after the unfortunate death of his older brother and mentor in a tragic hunting accident.

Then things take a magical twist when Bayor encounters an eilÿm, a moon-child, in the forest one fateful night. That encounter would transform his life forever, for Bayor is gifted with an enchanted sword and the much sought-after opportunity to redeem his place in the land.

He goes on a spree of hunting expeditions, cutting down vicious monsters and infernal beasts with abandon, gaining unprecedented fame as a valiant hero that could wrestle spirits and overcome them.

But when his dear friend is struck by an evil plague, Bayor would go to any length to save her life, even venturing into the Forbidden Forest, where it is said that the cure for the infernal ailment could be found.

However, the Forbidden Forest is home to monsters of the darkest depths, fearsome creatures of the sort that Bayor had never encountered before. It is also the abode of one of the most vile evil known in the land; the undead. A horde of despicable zombies brought to life by the force of the Forest itself.
