Brooke's Discovery

Brooke’s Discovery Ten-year-old Brooke’s life changes from wealth to poverty when her father dies. She hates the shabby apartment behind the pizzeria where her mother works. It only gets worse when her mother’s friend Brad moves in. Existence is made bearable by the friendship of Gwen, a young blind woman, and Emily, a girl at school whose secret Brooke discovers and promises to keep. An argument that Brooke has with her mother over Brad leads to Brad threatening Gwen and Brooke attacking him. It changes the circumstances of Brooke’s life once again.
