John Rêve and his wife Mary are fighting to stay alive in the harsh conditions of the post-apocalyptic world. Burning sunlight by day, and freezing toxic rain at night make living day to day a struggle. They have one hope for survival, the location of a secret government bunker that has food, water, shelter, and most importantly, medicine. Mary is sick. John must travel through time ultimately to try and save his wife and the remaining survivors in the bunker. He arrives in a futuristic civilization and he tries to blend in. As he begins gathering the supplies he needs to return to the past he meets a woman that looks and sounds exactly like his wife. In his confusion he decides that he must meet her and find out why he is drawn to her.
