We live in a time where all indicators are pushing us to be negative, anxious, worrisome, empty, and unhappy. We’re being given more and more reasons to doubt our worth. There are many reasons today to be frustrated at life and to want to throw in the towel. But we will do no such thing.

We stand strong in the face of the uncertainty of this era. Our minds are controlled and focused. We aim towards great hopes and dreams, and our hearts have been fortified with the armor of courage, so we persevere and persistently crush the walls and barriers in our paths.

We are calm and unbothered by the little things – the petty frustrations and annoyances of regular life. We choose to be above the confusion of angry, grudge-holding people, for we not only recognize the weakness in this kind of social interplay, but we see to the truth of our deep connectedness as cells in a singular body of existence—all of us together aiming to live meaningful and worthwhile lives.

We live with confidence, honor, and self-respect. We do not compare with others, and have disciplined ourselves to attend with dignity to our own personal pathways through life, measuring our progress not by how it relates with the progressions of other people, but by the degree to which we gave our best effort.

We are here to complete our goal pursuits, yet we understand that they cannot complete us. Therefore, though our eyes are set on a better tomorrow, we are at peace with today. We are not anxiously and desperately seeking happiness from material possessions, prizes or desired outcomes; rather, we are already content within.

We choose to live with calmness, courage, and self-honor.

Who are “We”? We are all people – You, I, and everyone else aiming to live an epic and enlightened life.
