Back in the 80's, Grace lived with her grandmother in the Kool-Aid house; she had the most amazing best friends; and she was in love with neighborhood bad boy, James Stryker.  They nicknamed their group of loyal friends, The Band, and all of them pinky-swore to keep their hair big, the disco out of their boom boxes, and their status as BFFs 4-ever.  
But all it took was one careless whisper for The Band to be blown apart, along with Grace and James's relationship too.  
Now, years later, Grace has to come home for her grandmother's funeral.  It's a little shocking when all her old friends show up--a final request from Grace's grandmother, to put The Band back together again.
Time changes everything, and now The Band has to find out if they can get their groove back, or if that careless whisper from the past will silence their relationships forever.
