Challenges is the second book in the Chinavare's Find series. Newly promoted Captain Random Arthur Hause, a former history teacher/baseball coach, finds himself at the center of the explosion as events on Echo World spin out of control. He and his new partner, Miss Eileen Sands become the leaders of the newly rebellious Off-world forces in a fight for independence. They discover that dancing, as a marionette is preferable to dying. As Random and Eileen engage, along with the rest of the human community, in another unwanted war, they add a new collection of friends, including Colonel Richard Schoenfeldt and Andrew “Ike” Eicherman. Through the help of Schoenfeldt and Eicherman, Random and Eileen are able to find the manpower and resources to defend their newly created Savannah Protectorate. The price for failure is obvious. What isn’t so obvious is; What are they going to do if they succeed?
