Chasing Evil

The magically powerful evil Grendach is coming. In a desperate race before certain doom threatens his home, Kiyae, son of Loregii, must travel to the Order of the Flying Foot to train and retrieve the Lions Chest. While there, he meets a Captivating Person of the order who will change his life forever. Upon his return, he learns that his village is destroyed and the inhabitants killed or running for their lives. Alone now, he realizes that only he holds the key to destroy the Grendach, but the clues to the key are veiled in layers of mystery. The Grendach is killing humans and threatening the very existence of the planet. Kiyae must crack the code before the world succumbs. Not only does Kiyae have the Grendach to deal with, he has to fight a corrupt and riddled world. Nothing is as it seems. An explosive secret lurks beneath the surface, threatening Kiyae at every turn. His unlikely allies are: ‘Mowrii’, a were-lion who gives up her family to find pride, love and true friendship; ‘Alfric’, an enslaved elf who seeks freedom and agrees to be a slave only to learn what real freedom and friendship are really about; and ‘Ront’, a half-orc, half-human who fought daily for pride’s sake, who must look deep within himself for the courage to embrace his destiny, and who, with the help of his friends, learns that everything has a price. Thrown together, the four are set on a dangerous quest to learn a truth that can destroy Kiyae’s greatest love and anyone who seeks to challenge its power.
