Christians must never be troublemakers since Paul's admonition in I Timothy 2:2 is to "...lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and humility." Genuine Christians will make every effort to obey that verse.

We will also try to be an example to other believers as we are careful not to despise government and dignities. However, we must not, we dare not, we cannot obey government when obedience to government would mean disobedience to God!

Some Christian leaders tell us that there is no such thing as legitimate Christian resistance, but those "leaders" wear panty hose, silk shorts, have lace around the edge of their shirts, and sniff perfume from frilly handkerchiefs.

Christians have been taught to obey all laws, and that is dangerous as well as being unscriptural.

In this treatise, I have attempted to help correct the improper preaching of authority and call Christians back to simply being Christians! We can and should question authority without questioning Authority! My three specific motives are: (1) to convince people that not all laws should be obeyed, (2) to challenge people to honestly decide what laws conflict with Biblical principles, and (3) to convince Christians to resist laws in the tradition of Bible heroes. Those heroes were imprisoned, burned at the stake, crucified, drowned, and shot for Biblical truths. I trust I will be successful because it is time to resist.
