With the starting of a new life for Billy the Wizard and his brother Charley, and the expected arrival of Santa, the woods had come back to life. This had happened even though the cold snow and wind that was whistling down the valley was turning the mountains and Tut-Tut-Bun into a great white blanket with snow covering everything.
“I don’t know how Santa is going to find his way to the villages through this?” Charley groaned, staring into the darkening night.
“It’s not going to be easy for those reindeer either, pulling a sled full of presents all over the sky,” Billy answered. “I suppose we could help out in a small way up here in our wood, by making a fire or something, so it will light up the ground and rooftops.”
“Yeah, well, we’ve been there before?” said Charley ...
