Chronicles of the Amazing Broken Girl tells a story, through poetry, of a woman that falls for the wrong man and her struggles to reclaim her identity in the wake of him.

Her life has been amplified by her decision to live without a prescription. Everything, from her family and small child to her love and sex life, suddenly becomes louder. In order to stay well, she quiets down her life and starts keeping to herself. Eventually she learns to function in her daily life.

And then she meets him…she wasn’t supposed to like him, much less fall in love with him. He becomes her world, sharing in her wellness and teaching her that she can love and live without a doctor’s note. When he tears her world apart, almost on a whim, she is faced with a downward spiral that could ruin everything she’s worked hard to become.

With her undoing in sight, she fights back, waging war on her mental illness with poetry and great life changes. She learns that she is her own glue, and while borrowing the strength of her closest friends, she puts herself back together again.
