Some vacation!
8 Omen
Clint looks at the very strange colors in the sunset. It is beautiful, in a weird sort of way – but those colors are just beyond his experience.
silvio, a close Indio friend, says it is an omen. If the colors remain for one minute as they are, it is an omen of good fortune. If the pink intensifies to red, it is an omen of blood. Lots of blood.
9 Follow the Blood
Clint is called by Sergio Sanchez, a good friend with the policia nacional in Bocas del Toro to help with a case of murder among some people he was having some trouble with. The trail leads to another murder, earlier, in Costa Rica. Investigating that leads to yet another in Mexico.
Is it a serial killer of some kind – or is there a very understandable motive?
10 ... Or So the Gods Said
Clint is having an unwanted discussion on the bus with a priest from the Church of Absolute Truth in Life .. or something such. The conversation gets weird. There are always a few nutcases here, so he doesn’t think much of it – until the murders.
