Imagine your body being taken over from the inside out, cell by cell, neurone by neurone, synapse by synapse. Imagine your body being possessed, transformed, but from the outside, it looked normal, too normal!
The ‘Big Bang,’ the spark, the singularity, call it what you will, which occurred in David’s brain was a build-up of static to such a magnitude that an electromagnetic pulse, kick-started his ‘new brain’ to a new level of consciousness where our anthropic reasoning does not exist other than as a vague blueprint of an eccentric thought pattern, verging on the paranoia of the self. A set of charged ionic-nerve impulses, produced from a biological matrix and extrapolated into a fragile electro-biological storage mass for future reference.
To the ‘new’ David, our laws of creation were redundant.
