The skeletal remains of two bodies are discovered concealed behind a false wall of an abandoned building. The owner of the building, Roarke summons his wife, Eve Dallas, an NYPSD Lieutenant to the scene. Before long, she unearths ten more bodies, leaving her with twelve murders to solve. The building was once a temporary shelter for difficult youngsters; it was called “The Sanctuary.” With the help of a forensic anthropologist, she is able to identify most of the victims. When she discovers that a close friend of hers is linked to the victims, she realizes she must crack this case. She needs to unlock the dark secrets buried in “The Sanctuary” to solve the mysteries of a heinous crime committed fifteen years ago. Will she succeed?
