James was a frail child with poor eyesight, a perfect target for bullies. An only child, a father who abandoned him and neglected his responsibilities, his only friends being his hard working mom and the animals that would visit his home.
School is a nightmare, he gets no protection from the teachers, and if he isn't caught he dodges from one class to the next, and runs home at the final bell.
When he starts work and the mistreatment continues, along with his beloved mother getting killed, he resolves to get back at his tormentors.
Using the skills he's learned from his computer and his work experience, he is fully equipped to exact his revenge if he doesn't get apologized to. If they don't, they face the CONSEQUENCES of hurting him.
Like a lot of victims of bullies, James gets to his snapping point, and being alone he doesn't care what happens to himself, so intent is he on attaining his own justice. It is only when he meets a former classmate who was similarly treated, that he starts to realize that he may have a life to look forward to, and he begins to help others who have been bullied.
James has zero tolerance for bullies. He believes that all adults should set better examples, especially the parents and teachers, and that intervention should be encouraged more. Social media is used very effectively to cyber bully, but the same tools can be quite a weapon to stop it.
James is able to deal with his bullies eventually. Isn't it time we dealt with the rest of them?
