Dr. Rita Bova, is originally from Toledo, Ohio and now resides in Columbus, Ohio. She is a tenured professor in the Communications Department at Columbus State Community College where she has taught thousands of students the fine art of public speaking and the intricacies of intercultural communications. She has traveled the world and spent a year living in Australia as an International Rotary Club sponsored fellow. Her first book, "The Year My Birthday Was in Summer" chronicles that time with personal stories and recipes reflecting the culinary delights of the regions she visited.
