SHE HAS NEVER MET ANYONE LIKE HIM, OR SO SHE THOUGHT
Young and exotic, Anna Declane first meets Cole Myers, a gorgeous billionaire, in the coffee shop where she works as a waitress. He makes her nervous with his compelling eyes the first two weeks he stalked the shop, and then he sweeps her off her feet once she agreed to date him.
A runaway from a past she never wants to remember, she is not the kind of woman who believes in happily-ever-after. He is too good to be true and he raises enough warning bells to trigger her most potent survival instincts.
But he has ignited an ardent fire she didn’t even know she possessed and his fervent touch manages to somehow make her feel safe. Can she trust him? Or should she trust her instincts and run as far away from him as possible?

Except:
HE ASKED HER, "Do you trust me?"
It was around midnight. They lay in the bed in his bedroom in the mansion, both naked after another bout of sweaty, glorious sex. They both felt relaxed and gratified.
Anna's body felt sweetly numb with satisfaction. Yet, she was still inflamed, a state she found herself in all the time when close to Cole.
She stared at him. In the soft light, his eyes glowed.
He seemed... dangerous.
She smiled and answered without hesitation. "Completely."
He smiled, then turned to the side and opened the bedside drawer. He faced her again while hiding something behind his back.
"Let's try something new," he said, using his deepest, most seductive voice.
He threw several objects on the bed.
Three silk scarves.
Her heart beat faster, a rhythm of deep thuds.
"Turn around," he ordered softly.
Without waiting, he had her sit with her back turned to him. He passed one of the scarves around her eyes, blindfolding her. He tied it neatly at the back of her head.
She became breathless. Fear coupled with excitement warred within her.
She raised her hand to take it off, but Cole stopped her.
"Don't be afraid," he whispered in her ear.
