We seldom know the hour of our deaths. That makes it easier. The Grim Reaper usually approaches his victims with stealth. Like most, young Mr. Kitt never saw his death approaching him. But he did feel death approaching, even if he didn't know exactly what it was. Kitt was able to escape death this time. That was largely due to what seemed like a chance meeting at the airport before he boarded that doomed plane and buckled his seatbelt.
