It quickly becomes a case of Julia and Connell against the world where the only thing known for certain is that timelines are tightening and the killer―or killers―unknown will strike again soon...and have also targeted them!
Connell follows a lead to a creeped out old farm house on a solo surveillance mission, to scout the site and decide whether to a SWAT approach later. When Julia finds out that he’s gone alone she has a powerful premonition: something’s going to happen. Ty’s going to need help. Julia has to scramble to figure out exactly where in hill country he’s headed and race there. What she finds and has to fight her way through when she gets there is unforgettable. Among other horrors, an officer who had raced there earlier is hanging from a tree and bleeding out… and Connell is about to be next. What happens next no one could see coming.
