Mike Rizzo is working a photo shoot as security when the male model in the shoot fails to show. Because of his rugged good looks, he is pulled into the photo shoot as a substitute male model. In doing so, encounters a dancer whose haunting green eyes capture his heart and his protective instincts. He is drawn to her, only to discover her abusive and famous director husband wants to use him as an excuse to get rid of her. He sees the abuse first hand and acts to save Jennifer from her husband.
As Mike helps her stay safe from her husband they begin to develop strong feelings for each other. By pure luck they both survive the car bomb that was his first attempt to kill them.
